Brown Butter and Lemon Asparagus

The best side green dish for any dinner on your menu is asparagus! Baked in brown butter lemon sauce and topped with fresh Parmesan, this asparagus recipe will be your new go to! 🤩

Ingredients:

Asparagus
1 lemon (zest and lemon juice)
2 tablespoons of butter
Sea salt
Olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper
Grated Parmesan

Set your oven to 400. Wash and cut the ends of the asparagus. In a baking sheet, line the asparagus and drizzle olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper. In a large sauce pan, melt butter. Grate zest of one lemon and juice of one lemon into the skillet. Continue to stir the butter until it turns golden brown and starts to bubble/foam. Once the butter starts to smell nutty, you have browned butter. Drizzle half of the butter mixture over the asparagus and bake for 30 minutes or until the asparagus has a nice char! Take out of oven and top with rest of butter and grated parm!
