Caramelized Oat Pears
Iām obsessed with these Caramelized Pears š and even better if you have ice cream on hand! In less than 20 minutes, these gooey caramel pears are the perfect dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Pears offer great dietary fiber, which promotes healthy digestion and bowel movements. The most beneficial part of pears is the skin, so make sure to not peel these pears when you cook them š
Ingredients:
1 pear, washed
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
Coconut sugar
Olive oil
Rolled oats
Cinnamon and salt
Start by washing your pear really well, cut in half and remove the seeds with a spoon. Drizzle the pears with a little olive oil, about a tablespoon. Brush over the pears. In a small bowl, combine sugar, pinch of salt, cinnamon, and rolled oats. This should create a crumble like mixture. Top the pears with the crumble mixture. I like to eyeball this mixture, no need to measure. I always add extra cinnamon! Place into the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes! You can test the softness of the pear with a fork or toothpick! Once soft and sizzling, remove and serve!
